It all began with this single image I shot while in New York showing my portfolio during April, 1986.  I had never seen Yankee Stadium and decided to take the day off and catch a game, the Opening Day of the baseball season. I had a camera with black and white film and on impulse climbed to the upper deck and captured Ron Guidry's first pitch of the season.
